    Part Time Retail Staff - Guelph, Ontario Location 

    Retail Staff will be responsible for:

    • Greeting customers and responding to all customers’ questions.
    • Process payments by totalling purchases: processing cash, credit, debit, and other forms of payment.
    • Responsible for cash handling during their shift
    • Alerting management of potential security issues, etc.
    • Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
    • Opening + closing store duties.
    • Store cleanliness
    • Providing an outstanding customer experience
    • Must be available on evenings and weekends

    MUST be available to work 2 days in a row ( weekdays and/or weekends ) 

    Part-time hours: Approx. 6-7 hours per week

    Inside Sales Representative

    The Scented Market is one of Canada’s fastest growing home fragrance and lifestyle brands, proudly manufacturing all products in house at our Guelph facility. From Dragons’ Den to QVC and major retailers across North America, we are growing quickly and looking for an ambitious Inside Sales Representative to grow with us.

    This is not a passive desk job.

    We are looking for someone hungry for sales, highly organized, confident on the phone, and excited to help grow our rapidly expanding B2B wholesale business.

    This position is onsite at our Guelph manufacturing facility, where all the fun happens.

    Position Details

    • Full Time
    • 37.5 Hours Per Week
    • Monday to Friday
    • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Onsite in Guelph, Ontario

     

    What You’ll Be Responsible For:

    • Making daily cold sales calls to retailers and prospective wholesale accounts
    • Building and growing our B2B and wholesale business across North America
    • Managing inbound and outbound customer communication
    • Maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts
    • Managing and processing wholesale orders in Shopify
    • Supporting and communicating with our outside sales team
    • Tracking daily activity, KPIs, and sales performance
    • Following up consistently with leads and customers
    • Maintaining organized spreadsheets and customer databases
    • Providing exceptional customer service
    • Working closely with leadership to drive sales growth and meet company targets

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experienced with Google Drive, Google Sheets, and spreadsheets
    • Familiar with Shopify or ecommerce platforms

    Qualifications

    • Previous inside sales, wholesale sales, customer service, or account management experience preferred
    • Experience with cold calling and lead generation is considered a strong asset
    • Strong computer and organizational skills required
    • Experience using spreadsheets and Google Workspace is required
