If you find yourself overworked, stressed, or just in need of some ‘me’ time, have a spa day!
Taking time to unwind and treat your body right is important for your physical and mental health. If you’re short on time, we get it — it doesn't have to be a whole day of pampering. Just be sure to dedicate an hour or two to relax and treat yourself!
First, make sure your bathroom is clean and decluttered. This is where you’ll be spending most of your time.
Next, head to the kitchen to grab some snacks. Go for foods that are tasty and nourishing, like fruit and yogurt, veggies and ranch, or tea sandwiches. Arrange everything on a charcuterie board or plate.
Don’t forget a book and a device to play music. Choose one or both depending on what you’re in the mood for.
Bring everything to the bathroom and set down somewhere you can reach from the tub. Or you can use a Bathtub Tray!
Your spa routine
To kick off your self-care routine, start with your face. Try a Facial Roller or a Gua Sha stone. Using these tools has some benefits such as improving lymphatic flow and drainage, and reducing puffiness and inflammation. Gently massaging your face can also have a calming effect. Both can be stored in the fridge and should be used with a facial oil, serum or moisturizer.
