Are you looking for ways to freshen up the look of your kitchen?
Start with your countertop!
No, you don’t need to do any resurfacing or refinishing… You can give your kitchen a new look simply by what you place on your countertop.
Here are a few tips on what to include.
For the best results, be sure to start with a bare countertop and wipe down all surfaces first before placing anything!
TIP #1: Hang your tea towel on a Mini Ladder instead of your oven handle. This is a super cute way to keep your towel handy and to show it off if it has a pattern or print you like. We love anything lemon themed, so we use our Lemon Fresh Tea Towel.
TIP #2: Invest in a Kitchen Cleaning Bundle. Each bundle comes with a Scented Counter Spray, a Scented Hand Soap and a Dish Brush all stored neatly inside a wooden caddy. Enjoy the convenience of having all your essential cleaning supplies in one place while admiring the rustic-chic caddy!
TIP #3: Add an antique Crock! Our selection of Crocks were used for food back in the day, but in 2022 we’re repurposing them as vases! Fill yours with tall stalks of Lavender, Bunny Tail, Eucalyptus, etc.
TIP #4: Don’t be afraid to show off your cutting board! You may think wooden boards are just for preparing food on, but they can also be unique display pieces. Prop up one of our Display Boards against your kitchen backsplash and place other items of various heights in front of it to create a layered, cozy-looking display. Think Soy Candles, Crocks, your Kitchen Cleaning Bundle, etc.
TIP #5: Have fun with Decor Beads! Admittedly, these aren’t very functional, but they are cute and a really easy way to add that finishing touch to your countertop. Drape them over your Mini Ladder, wrap them around a Crock or plant, hang them from your window or lay them on a tray with a Soy Candle.
We hope these tips help you to create a kitchen space that not only looks good, but feels good! Remember, you don’t need to go out and buy a whole new kitchen to get a fresh look. Sometimes one or two items can make a big difference!
